BYU

It has been two months, fifteen days, and about 6,500 miles since I last updated this blog.
Wow! So now to catch up...BYU is so fun! My life has been filled with memorizing character radicals for Chinese 112, reading for my World Civ class, going to dance parties, making dinner for boys, hanging out with Meilina and Nate, spending too much money at Jamba Juice, screaming at football games, going to the temple, and playing with the Dockter family. I am so grateful for my fun and kind roommates, my insightful teachers, and the amazing people that are around me every day.
I am taking 14.5 credits: two Chinese classes, World Civ, Human Development, Social Dance, and the Book of Mormon. It's great to be learning again! I really do like all my classes (after I dropped physical science...lol).
The adventure of this week was that I donated blood and almost passed out! It was my first time donating blood and I had no problem doing it, but when it was all done and they were wrapping up my arm I started to fade from consciousness. I laid down for a few minutes, and then slowly sat up. Once I was in a sitting position I immediately felt sick again, and had to lay down for about thirty minutes. But it was definitely worth it because, aside from saving lives, I got a free T-shirt that says "I Bleed True Blue!" :)
